| Or if you use tomtom on a PDA, you can download these :- http://www.pocketgps.co.uk/uksafetycameras.php Updated monthly and in my experience it seems to work very well, it does also alert to sites that have been reported as mobile locations or known patrol car hangouts which obviously means a few false alarms (but kind of reassuring when it alerts and 250yards up the road, sure enough a layby I do genuinly think they are a good safety tool if used properly. In all honesty I think I've got pretty responsible with regard to speed but the alerts do prompt me to check my speed in a timely manner. If I am going 56mph in a 50mph limit I slow down a bit. It does avoid any sudden last minute breaking and I am not checking my speedo every minute to make sure I am not drifting over the speed limit by a few miles an hour. Daz

| Something I've started using on my 407 is the cruise control's speed limiter. I can set a maximum speed and I can't go over it. If I need to, in a hurry, I can press the accelerator all the way down until it clicks (a very positive button at the end of the travel) and then it overrides the limiter. Usually I set it to speed limit plus a couple of mph, so 54 in a 50 for example. It's easily adjustable to whatever speed I want and it shows me digitally what it's set at which is nice (Had a mondeo rental car which had cruise but no display to tell you what speed it's set at Mark.
