| Mark, I've used www.putfile.com for QT .mov files. Seems to work OK - check it out.

If you wish to embed it into a web page on your site the the basic code is <EMBED SRC="Sample.mov" HEIGHT=144 WIDTH=160> Where "Sample.Mov" is the file name of your movie and the 144 : 160 is the dimensions of the screen size you wish to display. If you want to start adding features like auto play or controls then best to read up on the apple web site http://www.apple.com/quicktime/tutorials/embed.html It will require your target audience to have Quick Time player on their pc tho. I you just need a quick and easy way to share then place it on http://www.putfile.com/ as Tom mentioned... Let us know where you place it so I can take a look... |

| A simpler way? Hi, I found the easiest way to run video from my site was to just put a button with a link to the file. Although i use .wmv i think this should work for any format. The player just opens automatically. The are about 20 vids on the site if anyone wants to take look. If anyone wants to donate then drop me a line on info@divelife.co.uk. The idea was to build up an online underwater video database which is free to access for all. Brett
