Can someone teach PC World how to work the internet?
I ordered something from the PC World website earlier (very surprisingly it was almost 50% cheaper there than anywhere else, £35 instead of £65). Very frustrated with the web service though - the product isn't in any shops near me so I have to get it delivered to home, but with their priority (expensive) services the quickest they could get it to me was this time next week. So instead i've got the 5-7 day standard service.

Now I know when it will come and thats fair enough - but how come a store as big as PC World, with big warehouses and stores all over the country can't get a product to the Post Office in less than 4 days? Even with their express services it must spend 4 days minimum moving around their own warehouses (and it is in stock).

Had a look on thier order status page on the website that really just made me lose all faith in the world - I had to enter my password on EVERY page I went to after I logged in! Couldn't believe it!

Not entirely sure what the point of this post is other than a little rant, but I feel much better for it! In hindsight probably more suitable for the rants forum, but i've wrote it now so its going here :O)

Next time try Dabs.com - they are fairly efficient usually and have a wide selection.

Anyone for a chorus of 'I'd like to teach the world to sing?' or variations thereof?

As long as you never need to return a product, or want any degree of customer service whatsoever. They're not so hot at that.
