Dect Repeaters

Are there any cheap (anout £20) ones available.
We have a long, thin flat and the base station has to be right at 1 end, I'd like to have arepeter 1/2 way along to boost the signal at the far end because it's a bit flakey.

As we got the base station and 3 phones for 55 quid, I don;t really want to spend 100 quid on a repeater.

Stick it onto a directional antenna paul, it'll be cheaper.

Good idea Zak, but the base station does not have a 'rubber-duck' type or any external antenna socket.

ah. you're left with 3 choices;

1. Buy a repeater (cheapest I've seen are £89 and I was suprised to see them that cheap)
2. Bin the lot and buy a system that includes a 2nd base station
3. try to couple at RF level into a directional antenna....


or.. 3.1 dont use the fone at the far end of the house

have a look on EBAY, you will get a repeater cheap or a new phone with multiple handsets.
other than that companys like Nimans or Rocom will sell what you want at a price.
