Urgent Help Needed - Video Conversion

Hi YD,

I am currently doing a university project for designing the Shanghai F1 Stadium and have created some animated videos which have come out as AVI files, I need to convert these to WMV files. Does anyone know of any freeware programs that will be able to convert from avi to wmv without leaving its own mark behind??
Help a fellow diver if I can't convert these tonight then no diving for me tomorrow????
Thankyou in advance

Dan

If you're on Windows XP you could also have imported into Windows movie maker and made a small film outputting to .wmv

for future reference now I guess !

That's originally what I had Intended to do, but i deleted it sometime last week thinking i'd never use it and that it was just taking up space.

Right, so now we've done the easy one, any suggestions for .mov to .avi (or anything really, just not .mov)

I've used a program called 'River Past - Video Cleaner' which is good, also the full version of Apple Quicktime allows conversions of its own .mov files to other formats.
