| Feel a bit silly asking what is probably a very basic question when there are so many brilliant IT people out there, but what I am trying to do is I've got to write an article and want to use text wrapping as I've got photos to insert. Whilst I've done this using text boxes in the past I dont want to have little boxes round the pics. I've got the right toolbar up etc and the icon (little dog) is lit but when i click on it for the menu of wrap styles none of it is lit up to select. What am I doing wrong here how can i get it lit to select the layout I need? I've tried the help pages but I cant seem to find the things to click on that it says. ![]() |

| So you have some text, you insert picture, from file and the picture appears, yes? Then you slect the pciture so you get the grab handles and size the piccy to what you want, right click and select format picture. Select the "layout" tab and you get the little dogs. Then you should be slect the doggies for tight wrap, or whatever you want. I can't understand why they would not be available,? Sorry, not much help.

| Done it! Thanks so much Lou. Bloody help notes were useless! It never said anything about a right click! No wonder I couldnt do it, was tryin to do it from the toolbar. I usually persist till I 'discover' how to do things but had been at this on and off all morning and computer was in danger of going out the window or coliding very heavily with opposite wall! Many thanks v grateful (hope it'll let me green you - if not I'll save it! |
