| Don't think you can get any of those old text based games these days, but you could give Baldurs Gate a whirl. http://www.gamespot.com/pc/rpg/baldursgate/review.html It's quite a few years old so you should be able to pick it for for peanuts. Huge game though. Make sure you don't tip the Diving vs Gaming balance the wrong way! |

| Have search on eBay for Zork - A few titles will be available. Try:- http://www.firstage.net/testimonials.html http://nxn.netgate.net/games2_XadventureX.html http://www.if-legends.org/~pdd/ http://members.chello.at/theodor.lau...mes/advent.htm A few to get you going. |

| Big thumbs up for Baldur's gate as well. If you like something with a really weird but layered plot then try Planescape Torment by the same company (Black Isle). You start the game as a scarred amnesiac....but you're also immortal! Solving plots by dying and coming back to life is really quite cool

| Morrowind - an Elder Scrolls game - is bloody excellent. It's got a free-roaming structure so you can choose to do whatever you want. It's in a first person format and has expansion packs to keep you going. I lost several months of my life to it a few years ago. A collector's edition with all the expansion packs is still available in the shops. I've never come across anything better since - most good RPG's are on-line now and I'm too tight to pay a subscription!

| If you want a totally impossible one try the Hitchhiker's game on the BBC Radio4 website. If you don't get killed by a flying brick as your house gets knocked down I would be very surprised.

What - only months? Still the best game ever made imho. With the possible exception of Knights of the Old Republic.

| Believe it or not, you can still get hold of the original Zork games for the PC. You can also get a "run-time" that allows you to play them on a Pocket-PC. Never tried copying the ".sav" file from PC to Pocket-PC (and/or back) I think they're now effectively "Public Domain". Have copies if you're interested? |

| Have recently got morrow wind and is a good indepth game. I however, much prefer the baulders gates games. Iw ould not bother with the first one, would defs get the second one (shadows of ahm). However, if you want a really good game that will destroy your social life entirely (Well I might have had one before I am not sure) then get world of warcraft. ONline game that is trully awesome Kev the geek
