Internet Explorer 7 Beta2

In case anyone is interested Microsoft are beta testing the latest installment of IE. I've been running it for a little while now both at home and at work and have to say I quite like it. The "Quick Tabs" feature is pretty nifty!

I can't get IE to run on my operating system. I am using Red Hat Fedora Core 4 with a fully updated system, superb web serving facilities, mail server, SQL database and PHP 5.0. Am I doing something wrong?

I'm suprised that you have any time to post on YD, what with all the virus checking, spyware removal, installing of critical updates...

Hi

I've been trying it but there are a number of things I like and don't like. It is more like Opera than Firefox. I can't find a way to open a load of sites at once. In Firefox I have all the diving sites I visit in one folder, and simply 'open in tabs'. Can't find out how to do that in IE 7 yet. One other cool thing for th deep stop members is the firefox plugin called performancing. It allows you to write an article from your browser and automatically inserts it in your site

Ie7 is better than ie6 though, and I'm sure that it will be better when it eventually evolves beyond beta.

Andy

PS Using windows XP media edition ATM which is pretty good, remote control and digital TV
