Windows XP is not the same as MS Office, (which excel and Front Page are part of) If you dont have MS Office installed then you need to install it. The disc with XP wont include MS Office unless its a restore disc. You might also have some restore/cab files on your PC hard drive? What PC is it?

| Do you mean you have a legit copy of Office XP (aka Office2002)? Front Page (and the other apps) aren't part of Windows XP - you need Office. Can't see why Excel would need FrontPage installed though. Exactly what are you doing?

| Right I think the prob maybe that I dont have full Office installed as me mate done that for me. I have been given a monthly small amount of petty cash and I am just trying to find a way of logging expenditure and keeping a running total. |

| Looks like you have the run from disk option and don't have the full office installed. Get a copy of office and reinstall

| Something similar. My computer has recently started asking me to insert the install disc for Windows XP Professional every time I switch on. Any ideas why it's doing it? I presume I've installed some software that's trying to use it but I've no idea what. It's a little irritating. Any ideas how to rectify it?
