| Old Style SD Card for Digicam Evening all After having my finepix 2800z for the last 4 years at least, the final 256meg card (1 of three i had) has died on me. Now im not sure if it is the camera or the card that is dead and i have no way of testing this as i cant find one on ebay (unless someone else can) or would someone by chance have one for sale? Any help would be grand Thanks Keith

| Very quick google indicates Finepix 2800 uses smartmedia cards, not SD. One site stated 128 meg as max size of card for 2800, though that may have been the largest available when the camera was new, but could explain why camera is struggling with 256 meg. Bit more googling suggests 128 may have been the largest smartmedia card widely available. SmartMedia - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia Lots of 128 MB smartmedia on ebay and elsewhere. |
