| surely if the motherboard is knackered, then
a) Dell should replace under warranty as others have suggested
b) you could transfer you CPU and RAM to a new motherboard, but I'd be careful of a motherboard upgrade if it's a DELL box - they tend to go for funny connectors on the power and drives if I recall ....
However, if they're all standard stuff then you should be able to get a motherboard from about 40 quid, depending upon the CPU and RAM you already have, and whether you want budget or whizz-bang features.
I'd second the other poster for scan.co.uk or aria.co.uk, and komplett.co.uk can be OK but a bit pricey for some parts
