Thumbs up PCI Card to give a PS2 port

Morning all, thought I'd test the IT knowledge of the YD Massive...

We use Dell computers at work, and they come without any PS2 ports these days. We need a PS2 port to enable some Cherry keyboards with card swiping built in to work on the new PC's. We cannot use PS2/USB standard adaptors as The Cherry keyboards will not work with them. We therefore want to experiement with an addin card.

Does anyone know of a PCI card, which must be a half height card due to the size of the PC Base Unit, which will give us a PS2 port. Only one port is required as the mice are fine through USB.

Thanks in advance, as I've had a bit of a trawl on the net and couldn't turn anything up.

Have you asked Dell? (Two of the 6 identical spec -Optiplex GX280- Dell PCs in my dept came with a single PS2 socket.... the other four are USB only)

I have a support request in with Dell, but they aren't talking to me at the moment

Nice idea Xen, but we can't use it with any cable adaptor of any kind according to Cherry, which is why we're trying to experiment with an actual addin card.

Ahh bugger, it pays to read through the full post doesnt it

The only other thing I can think of is to maybe try a KVM switch, but if they wont work with USB adapters, they'll probably have problems with them too.

Our docking stations have PS2 ports (the laptops don't as far as i've noticed), which may be an (admittedly rather expensive) option.
