| Ipaq 5550 v's 2210 PDA's I had my ipaq 2210 PDA and sat receiver stolen from my vehicle a couple of weeks ago I am now looking for a replacment. I was going to get the same, a 2210 as i found it easy to use, but have been looking at the 5550. It seems to have more features, ie wifi, fingerprint reader. I can get a 2210 for 100 quid or the 5550 for 150. Which is the best buy? Also does the 5550 have Nevo, the remote control program as i liked this feature on the 2210?

| Zepp I looked at these some time back and settled for the iPAQ 6340. Had some issues with the 1st one received but eventually got a replacement that works fine. I didn't go for the fingerprint jobbie as I was reliably informed from a friend in the know that the technology isn't that great and bottom line: Anyone with the right knowledge could bypass it anyway. The 6340 has BlueTooth, WiFi, InfraRed & GPRS so I use it as a mobile phone as-well. Does what it says on the tin and is handy for browsing YD when on the move as they've done a brilliant job of the PDA UI (wish I could say the same for other sites). Hope that's of some help Zepp.

| I ended up getting the Ipaq 5550 with the Navman GPS jacket, ir keyboard, spare new battery, 2 cases, box full of maps and other software. All these items are as new and ALL for 190 quid including postage and packing. I had it all of Ebay so one can still get bargains from there. All I need to work out now is 'how the hell do you get the WiFi to work???'....anyone know?

Once you have turned it on if there is a wifi around it will tell you or go to connections and create a new connection,,,,,, I think,,,,,,,,,My 5550 just lets me connect as I have wifi at home, you will need to know the passcode of the wifi network so you can access it
