Sky Broadband
Just heard and it looks to shake up the broadband debate.

BASE up to 2mb and 2gb download, £40 activation fee and free per month

MID up to 8mb and 40gb download, £20 activation fee and £5 per month

MAX up to 16mb and unlimited download, free activation and £10 per month

Totally blows any deal out there !!!

which you have to do with everything anyway, even ntl dont let you just have broadband you have to have the phone with them too, even if like me you never use it apart from to call them when the broadband is down!

Looks to me like a load of marketing bull.

I have just had a circular from Sky telling me about the exiting free broadband offer that "SOME" subscribers "MAY" be getting - but, unfortunately, my area is not covered by it yet - however, I can pay for a broadband service from them.

So whats different from any other broadband service then?

Its all in the wording....... - typical SKY bull!

But Sky have sent me a letter saying that I'm gonna be able to set my Sky+ to record from my (okay that will cost me 25p plus normal mobile charges) or from t'internet for free - now that IS bloody good! (and 25p is bugger all if you go "bollocks - I forget to set {insert some typical girly program, that Mrs Doo really can't miss} to record for Mrs. Doo".... so worth 25p!

Untrue.

I have NTL broadband only (and no other NTL services). My phone is still with BT.
