| Hi all, My perfect home PC setup is almost finished as i have just taken delivery of my XP Media Centre PC which is being piped through my nice samsung HDTV. I have one problem though - im sat on the floor like a Hobbit!!!! Due to the fact that i dont have a wireless keyboard and mouse. So i need a wireless keyboard and mouse. I've been looking at this mouse: Logitech G7 Laser Cordless Mouse - Silver/Black ![]() And this Keyboard: Microsoft Remote Keyboard for Windows XP Media Center Edition ![]() Now all this is going to come to a massive £93.27!!!! So can anyone suggest any cheaper items which are still pretty good - FYI im a bit of a gamer and use my pc for work (GIS/webdesign) stuff so i dont want some kiddy package of crap. Eddy

| The Microsoft Generics are quite cheap these days. Don't buy from PC World, you'll get stitched up mate.

| [ Hi mate. When I used to play a lot (2-3 years ago), the forums had quite a few post about logitech mice not working with games. I'ts probably changed now, but worth a quick look before you commit. r Paul

| yep big bucks I use a Logitech one with a rechargeable mouse, don't bother getting a cheep one there total crap I ended throwing one out the window as it lost it's connection every few minutes. Around £90 is the right price for a good one Sean

| Gamers and cordless keyboards. |

Very good - how did you come across that one? FWIW eddy, a laser mouse is nowhere near as accurate as the good old fashioned ball driven variety. More convenient though. Do go for cordless though. I've used Logitech for years and never had any problems with the wireless connection.
