| Firefox + Pegasus I have Firefox running on a number of 'puters [not networked] and I wondered if there was an easy way to import/export all the bookmarks so they are all the same. I am sure it is possible, just lack the knowledge. While we are at it does anybody know how to export Pegasus [emailer] to a separate computer so that it starts and nothing is lost. Many thanks, David.

| The Bookmarks/Manage Bookmarks... dialog has Import and Export options under the File menu. Don't know about Pegasus. EDIT: Too slow! The Export produces a .htm file which can be viewed as a separate page in Firefox - if that's what you want.

Depends how it's set up if it is a "Normal" pop3 account then I think you just need to copy everything in the program directory over to the new compute (The directory used to be C:\pmail by default). If it's using the Mercury mail NLM's or IMAP then you Should be able to set it up on the new computer and set the same settings and all will be fine... Worst case scenario, install the same version of pegasus on the new machine, then copy everything from the pmail directory over then see how it goes. HTH Danny |

| Another option is to look at google bookmarks - quite a basic service, but you can then access your bookmarks from any browser, anywhere. You can get extensions for firefox that add another menu option as well which lets you add/manage/navigate your google bookmarks easily. |

| Thanks guys very helpful. I know Pegasus is old but I am used to it, and like it! First two apply to me as well! lol. David.

Yes it is ok to install the same copy of Peg on the new computer and then replace the PMAIL directory with the one from the old comp (for normal pop3 setup anyway). I've done this a number of times, most recently last weekend, and never had a problem. Pegasus is still under active development with a new incremental release out last month. The next major release is still due fairly shortly. |
