Which <£200 satnav?

Basically since I'm a commuter now and I hate getting lost I'm thinking about getting a satnav. Really I'd like to spend about £150 (otherwise it would be worth more than my car!!) but a bit more than that is ok. Since I know we diving folk are inherently techy, I figured you'd be the guys in the know!
My main requirements are:
1. The postcode thing, (you know, where you put the post code in and it works it out)
2. Needs to be detatchable so nobody nicks it.
3. Needs one of those voices that goes "turn left here!" etc. (Preferably before the turn)
4. (OPTIONAL) I'd like one with a number of different voices (can you get those?) including an efficient female German voice (like the one in James Bond's 7 series BMW in Tomorrow Never Dies, "Straight ozer ze humpback bridge") or maybe even a selection of celebrity voices, Alan Patridge would be fantastic (AHA! Turn left, you sh**).

I'll be honest that last point isn't really essential. Anyway, if any of you have any ideas or if you have a reasonably priced satnav you'd recommend I'd love to hear about it!

Cheers.

Navman ICN 520

I have one of these and very happy with it. Shop around as I think you can pick one up for about £150 at the moment.

Cheers,

Ian

on the other points, I'm surprised at you Adam, being a student

A. buy a map
B. spend the balance of your Dads £150 in the pub

other than that, I've no idea, my satnav came fitted from the factory

I've got one of the cheap Garmin ones - can't remember the model number, but it's the cheapest one they do - i3 or something?

It works, I'm quite happy with it.

Ahem. Change your phone to a smartphone, buy a bluetooth GPS receiver off eBay then load TomTom Mobile onto it. It's £249 for the software, or much, much less if you have a hunt around on the Interweb

They all look pretty awesome guys, cheers
I'm a student half the year but in the holidays I'm a big multi-office-commuting working man. However I'm sure by the 3rd week of term I would have sold my new satnav + car + kidneys for more beer money.
To be honest I'm more concerned about buying a new car at the moment since I dinged mine a little bit on the M4, and it now handles better round left corners than right ones.

Somehow I don't think "Dad I crashed my car and now I need you to buy me a new one in case I crash it again" would wash!
Got my eye on a Fiesta Si anyway, it looks hot, is cheap and most importantly, it has bucket seats. Test drive tonight!

Get a free phone upgrade to an Orange M600, then install Co-pilot from ALK with bluetooth GPS BRILL!!

Then you can run your deco software and all sorts on it too.
