| Have you tried sacrificing a chicken with a sacred keyboard and reading it's entails to get your answer? |

| I would use Tag&Rename to retag everything, THEN reimport the tunes, It works really well. Of course it does cost to register, but you can label a load of tags before you have to pay. Mp3 tag editor - Tag&Rename It is very good for that all important "album artist" tag which is the one that media player uses that virtually nothing else does (If you have ever started using XP media centre with music ripped from another app you will find this aspect VERY frustrating!) | The other thing to remember is that there are often 2 sets of tags, ID3v1 & ID3v2. I had the same problem where one program was setting one of the tags, but the mp3 player was using the other set. Someone's already mentioned a program called Tag&Rename (you can get a copy from Mp3 tag editor - Tag&Rename) - this'll let you switch between the tags so you can see the differences, and more importantly it'll let you sync both sets of tags so that they hold the same info. I could be wrong but I suspect that this is what's causing the problem - if only since I had the same thing! Simon

| Try this - this the mutts nutts. Mp3tag - the universal Tag Editor (ID3v1, ID3v2, APEv2) Quick and easy - takes a bit of getting used to but it's brilliant. |
