| Pay-as-you-go card. Top it up with a minimum of £10 and then for the next 30 days you get upto 300 free texts or 30 minutes WAP time (or combination of the two). No free calls. Once your 30 days is up or when you use your allowance you start paying (10p per text). When you next top up, same deal from that date onwards. You also benefit from O2's other pay-as-you-go offers - 'Treats' - depending on how much you spend. Free calls, extra texts etc. And, if that's not enough, you get 10% of your top-ups back as a credit every 3 months. It's a great deal if you don't make too many calls and a moderate amount of texting. I think I top up my phone with £10 only once every 6 or 7 weeks. If you want one PM me with your address. I've got a few lying about and would be happy to send you one.

To you it is the chip that you plug into your phone that defines your account (phone number/billing method/services etc.) Genie is just a telecoms operator that provides SIMs.. hence a Genie SIM.
