Laptop Graphics Card Question
If a laptop has an "Intel GMA 950 shared graphics memory up to 128mb" - what kind of level of games would this run. Are we talking basic pacman or things like Command and Conquer type graphics. I realise it won't be great but just after a general idea. A comparison would be good.

AnandTech: Integrated Graphics: Xpress 200 vs. GMA 950

Link to a comparison of game performance. I would say it would cope with C&C but not much more.

Think of it as one of the old PCI 64mb cards and I don't think you'll go far wrong. Original C&C and TA fine - but forget 1st person shooters released after about '96...

We used to play Half Life death matches on our PII 300mhz & 400mhz Dell Laptops with integrated 64mb shared cards with no problems at all - but that was about all they could cope with.
