hey frank u can use either spybot s+d or ad-aware ! which usualy digs out all the registry crap

Go Here and follow ALL the steps; this worked for me when I had to clean up a laptop my sister put on line with no protection of any shape or form:

use both spybot and adaware.

If they fail to clean it - boot in safe mode and run them both again.

Failing that try CWShredder to remove specific NASTY ones.

Failing that use Hijackthis and run it and post the results in here.

Both the last 2 are available from here.

Yep, just done the same and used Ad-Aware but it only clears our the stuff that has recently been downloaded. Also tried spybot but itkeeps asking me to enter files to be scanned and then comes up with No File selected.
I think there is something attached to one or two of the operating systems.
AVG still isn't picking anything up either.
