| I'd advice against an incorporated grinder. A separate grinder will allow you to grind for different coffee types e.g. a cafetiere needs a much coarser grind than espresso. I have a La Pavoni Europiccola bought from Best of Italy and it's a thing of beauty. Makes fantastic espresso, even with ready-ground coffee such as Lavazza although I prefer to grind my own with my Rancilio Rocky. Be warned - a decent coffee grinder can set you back well over a hundred quid. For espresso, you won't get anything useful for under £60. Last edited by nickb : 11-11-06 at 04:57 PM. |

Krups International GVX2 John Lewis - Krups Expert Coffee Grinder, GVX2 costs 39.95. Seems to have gone up since I bought mine. I have had a series of cheap non-burr grinders, they are useless for getting consistent grind size. This Krups is the dogs bollocks at a price that wont break the bank.

| Get your arse to Chester, find the Cook shop in the rows(upper level, Upper bridge street, towards the cross), go to the very back of the store. Large selection of coffee machines for the caffeine addict, from £ to OMG£££.
