Oh yess the cookshop is a place to lose yourself for a while wondering if you could get a mortgage for the Gaggia coffee maker.

For good reviews of tons of coffee machines try CoffeeGeek - News, Reviews, Opinion and Community for Coffee and Espresso.

It was the site that most influenced me when I was in the market for the bean-to-cup machine.

We have a Jura S9 - we both stopped smoking over a year ago and needed another addiction. I never go to the kitchen without grabbing an expresso - in - oohh 10 seconds flat for a fresh strong coffee. It's fab! I would recommend the bean-to-cup machine but with a big water tank and a decent coffee bean reserve. Selfridges have a good range of makes to choose from - go there, have a look & a taste, then use Kelkoo.co.uk to find it cheaper. From over 40 fags a day to 10 expressos + a chapachinko or two!!

Senseo, its the way to go if you want a coffee machine which is easy, not stupidly expensive (Like a Tassimo with its system of plastiuc pods), no coffee grains lingering down the side of the cup and having to be cleaned away
