HTTP Listener

I need to check the formation of an XML message over HTTP, ideally setting up a listener to accept POSTs from another application and just responding with a 200 message and putting the payload of the POST into a file until such time as I stop the listener and decide to read the contents.

I used to have a wee bitty PERL application that did this but with new laptops and rebuilds happening inbetween, I've lost it. I've searched Google but nothing came up that did what I wanted it to ...

any clues?

There's addin's for IE7 & FF that do this. Can't remember the FF one off the top of my head, but the IE one is called Fiddler (it's a microsoft plugin).

Hope that helps, Lloyd.
