Cash book.

I suppose this stretches the bounds of what counts as technology but ...... I would like a very simple cash book. I'm too lazy to do my own spreadsheet or set up a new company in my accounts.

Being a Lotus person myself I don't know the MS versions too well ...... is there anything ready set up in Excel etc.

I've had a Google and there is free stuff out there but I'm worried about spyware, viruses etc ...... any recommendations?

For something a bit more sophisticated you could try Microsoft Money. It goes all the way from simple home accounts (which is what I use it for) to Small Business Accounts.

There are other brands out there but I can't comment on their quality - which I'm sure is excellent - as I have never used them. I have used MS Money for 10 years or so and it is pretty good.
