I'm not a fan of Norton products personally - try Zonealarm, the full version gives you a top rated firewall and good AV and Antispyware and an spam email filter too

Depending on how insistent the little princess is on the phone handset (and that probably means the blingiest model out....which you don't tend to get on pay as you go....) then I'd suggest a pay-as-you-go so that she can be responsible for managing the cost of the phone bill
If you do go contract, then go to somewhere like carphonewarehouse and get them ot pick the best deal, they are pretty good for comparing tariffs, which is a minefield....

best of luck :-)

Norton is worse than any virus it is pretending to protect you from.

Get Avast for AVG (free for home users).

Prevx1 is the best anti-malware S/W I have ever come across.

Ad-Aware SE is also very good and free for home users.

Norton

Last night Norton offered to refund me my upgrade money. Having paid the full £43 and then finding I could not download as using win 2000, I was not happy.
Currently using AVG but may change this to Panda which I have on my laptop.

Save your money and system resources and go with BitDefender Pro. If you get it from US sites it will cost about £25 for firewall, AV, and spam filter.
