My business phone line supplier is looking into doing my home phone line as part of my business account. This may be even better.

Thumbs up Free Broadband
You could try borrowing a wireless lan adaptor. Scan too see if there are any unsecured connections close to you then log in for free. Then buy one if so.

So ...... no one has mentioned Pipex yet?

For £29.99 per month (inc VAT) they take over the BT line rental + do your phone calls (equiv to BT option 3) where the only limit to 'normal' phones is a max of 90 mins per call + 8meg broadband. No set up cost + hardware is FOC.

I think this is similar to the prices of Plus Net/Free Online except their limits were 1000 mins a month for the phone calls? Other numbers/mobiles are all at a discount when compared to BT standard rates.

Oh, this is all so confusing.

I think I am def ditching BT - they really fckd me about over a business line by disconnecting my line rather than the line to a flat nearby and the stress ....... not to mention they wanted to charge me for a reconnecation when they'd .............. aarrrggghhhhh!

Also, I've been paying £25 a month to BT for just my landline + calls ........ although my account is in credit ...............

FFS, I've turned into a Scrooge!!!
