Right here we go just finished: **EDIT** This is only for making legitimate copies of DVDs you own already

Download DVD shrink here: (latest stable version is 3.2.0.15) (its only small just over 1Mb)
DVD Shrink v3.2.0.15 (freeware)

Start the program should looks like this:

Put your DVD hit “Open Disk” you get a window pop up allowing you to select your drive with the disk in then hit OK

It will go through a quick anlysis (Takes a couple of minutes) looks like this:

Then once its done the main screen looks something like this:

I depending on wether the disk is dual layer or not compression may be required to fit it onto a single layer –r or +r (-r tend to be more compatible with normal DVD players)
With this example no compression is required as it is set automatic it will select the required amount of compression for you. How ever if some compression is required I would recommend doing a deep analysis (Just Click analysis button) this can take hours!!

Once done and your back to the main screen make sure “Full Disk” is clicked and not “Re-author” and then click the “backup” button this opens the “Backup DVD” window on the first tab select “ISO image file” and give the target ISO file a name. (If you had nero installed shrink would recognise it and allow you to burn the disk using nero in the back ground)

Leave all the other settings on the other tabs default and click OK this will eventally produce a single .iso file which you can use Nero Roxio or who evers dvd burning software to burn to a disk.
I'm afraid you will have to work out how to burn an ISO file with roxio as i don't use it my self.

Ian
