Norton 2007 network help

Ok this is probably me being stupid but I cannot get my computers to access each other & I think it might be Norton ,
both computers run xp pro ,both run norton internet security 2007 ,connected to a netgear wireless adsl firewall router via cables not wireless .
both have internet access but when you try to access each other it comes up with " the network path was not found " the Lan Mac address is listed in the "Trusted Computers " but nothing anybody got any ideas ?
TIA

2 most obvious options,

Do you have the XP firewall enabled or disabled.

does Norton have a firewall, and is it settup to allow filesharing?

You will need to check both computers.

Sorry but the quickest answer is to remove Norton internet security and install something that works without screwing up the system..

(He says after having to just that!)
