Right click the folder you are trying to copy the file to and make sure it is not read only.

Right click the drive select properties then click tools and select error checking.

Thanks for trying to contact me. By that time we'd thought of another solution.

No erros reported and as far as I can tell it is not read only. I might try formatting it as Colin suggests, just need to copy the files somewhere first.

My daughters mp3 player lied about the amount of space available, with the same error messages as your flash, I eventually deleted a file and was then able to copy another on.
