Not necessarily. This may be part of the protection on the disk. Download latest version of AnyDVD and you get a 30 day free trial. SlySoft Products | Copy Movie DVDs with AnyDVD and CloneDVD. Run this in the background and then run DVDshrink 3.2. This will sort out most issues.

With AnyDVD running you can at least try to watch the disk on the PC.
