Anyone DO washing machines
Help. My poor long suffering girlfriend has got a problem with her washing machine and in a relationship which is very much a team effort, I now have a problem with her washing machine

It's a Servis 6013 and won't spin, the motor pulses once and starts to spin, the it stops, pulses a couple more times then stops completely, the timer the clicks away. I've had the motor out and the brushes are ok and the windings look ok, I've even checked the tacho for continuity.

Other thoughts, door interlock , control board , bad turn in the windings . I've trawled a few washing machine forums but to no avail, any ideas guys and gals, please.

I believe that the odd laydee has been known to DO a machine on a fast spin cycle

I had something similar a few years ago, turned out to be a hairclip stuck in the drain/filter at the front of the machine. Should be a small round cylinder which screws out from the bottom front of the machine.

does it do a full wash untill the spin or stop with water in the drum , i say this as if not then its your heater element nakered

i,m so so sorry....but i have to.
mine always does a full wash before the spin and my water never stays in the drum. i must have a leaking seal. I know it,s certainly not my heater element. My whites are always whiter than white
