Only thing you may want to toy with (if it's just giving you P's) is the port settings within XP? Make sure all the usual Baud/Handshake/Stop bit settings are OK as sometimes Parallels can arse around with them. Good Luck! Mark.

The VR3 sends the letter P when it does connect via IR, which demonstrates basic connectivity. The problem i have is that although hyperterminal can access the com port (which is actually a USB cable mapped to a virtual COM port), neither ProDive or VR PCLink can actually see the COM port. Thanks for the info on the new beta. I'll see if I have better luck with that. mark

| Just an update, the RC3 version of Parallels, running XP, will communicate quite happily with the VR3 using the C35 usb to IR cable. Also noticed that Parallels released a new formal release yesterday. However downloads from their servers appear to be a tad slow.. Thanks for the tip about using the new version. Green on the way Mark
