Red face I am a twit
I did something very silly earlier. I am going away for the weekend and I thought I would charge up my spare IPAQ battery, forgetting when I take out the current one I loose all my Tom Tom settings and have to start again. Trouble is everytime I do this I forget what I have done before.

So I am trying to pair up my IPAQ with a Holux GPslim236 and I thought the authentication code for all these these were either 1111 or 0000 but it doesn't want to pair and that means I can't configure the GPS settings.

Can someone tell me where I am going wrong.

but anyway, the auth code should not matter as long as you put the same one into both devices when it asks for one.

Can the devices "see" each other and if not is bluetooth turned on??

The code only goes into the IPAQ.

Yes BT is turned on but they won't pair up.

I don't know why because I never have this much trouble and I need it tomorrow :Cry:

I had a Google and there were some results. Avoid anything that has Amazon or Ebay in the web address as these bloody things reckon they have eveything you ever search for available!

Quick google suggests that 0000 is the pairing code so sorry, no idea why that isn't working

Thanks Steve that doesn't help, the whole point of satnav is you don't have to read anything, just keep going until told to do something.

I also don't have a printer so can't print anything off.

Getting pissed off now
