| We actually had that for a while but we would prefer to have a separate, freestanding, specially dedicated machine (usually handy for copying as well)- I appreciate your reply though cheers |

| we use fax.co.uk as a back up. We have also just bought a new machine which is a fax, photocopier and laser printer, and works very nice. But I don't know if it does the hands free telephone thing though: Brother MFC-8460N Multifunction Printer

| We use a fax to email service on the way in (have the line set to call divert) and can either fax from the back of the PC using MS networked fax or stuff it in a Brother laser fax/copier/printer for outgoing faxes (now rarely used). It works extremely well.
