| The headphones are designed to work under water. They sound prety crapy on land. That said thers crapy and theres crappy? Id jump in a swiming pool with them and see how it goes. ATB Mark

| Work fine under water, although you do need to position them correctly against your ears so you can get the best sound and so they dont rub and you end up with cauliflower ears Also you dont really want to use them topside; as you'd look a bit of a prat carrying round that lot Snash

| The amplifier inside is of low quality, but if your output from the mp3 player is high then it'll cover any hiss. If you're playing very quiet music you will hear some hiss. But as Mark says they are designed to work underwater and sound a lot better then. |

| Thanks so much for the comments..... I have only got it on a whim (for deco) as a Christmas present... (for me naturally), but expected it to be like a teenage boy's first car stereo with a great throbbing bass.....silly me. Will try it out next time I am diving and see what happens. The man who sold it me had fiilled it with readings from the Bible ![]() |

| Sounds fine underwater. Don't turn it up tto loud on land or you'll bugger up the speakers. They need to be water damped.

| Also set the EQ back to normal - the increased levels of certain channels, seemed to sound increasingly sh*te when run through the amp. You have access to ALL of the controls under water, so you can play with it all once it's wet and see what sounds best.

| I haven't tried mine on land, but underwater they are fantastic. I tend to leave it in my pocket until I get back up to 9 metres, then set it up. The last 2 stops are typically 60 minutes so the MP3 player certainly helps with the boredom. Steve |

| Thanks for all the help guys... I was sat here feeling like a bit of a donkey that had bought a pig in a poke as my old nan would say.Not diving for the next few weeks so can't test straight away, and was worried it was faulty and needed shipping back to the states. Feel much more calm and serene now gents with all that info, let's just hope I didn't blow the speakers trying them in my lounge ![]() |
