Wireless stuff

Hello all - I have a question following on the Finless's question about wireless headphones.

I want to buy a home theatre speaker system and connect it wireless to my TV, since my TV is mounted in wall recess and speaker cables can't be run from it. I've had a brief cast around t'internet and found lots of things that that are either a)bluetooth or b) just plain wireless.

Ideally, what I would like is two "transmitters" one for the TV and one for the stereo (again located at the other end of the room and too far for cabling) which would then both transmit to the single wireless reciver plugged into the back of the home theater system. Then I can have everything playing through one set of decent speakers!

Does anyone have thoughts or recommendations? Do these wireless systems maintain sound quality OK?

All advice and direction welcome.

Thanks in advance

Andy

Its not sound quality its actually video quality your talking about here.

TV is only the screen home theatre system is the Audio and I assume High Def Player.

Easy Solution to maintain quality is to dig hole in wall route cables, plaster wall :-)

Job Done.

Thanks for the information thehappychappy, but was really thinking of audio only. When I was speaking of a home theater system I was thinking of some that comprises an amplifier, a basebox and 3 or 4 complimentary speakers. I was not thinking of something which included a DVD player. I was thinking that I would take the sound output from the back my Bravia flatscreen and send it to the amp, which would then create "theatre type" sound environment.

Does this make sense?

Thanks

Andy
