It's worth every extra penny to buy a mac i know they're a bit more but it's well worth it i did exactly the same about 6 months ago after vista drove me crazy and lost some work i went out and bought a mac wish i had done it in the first place.

You know you want one Seriously i wasted about 550 quid on a vista laptop because i was worried a mac would be compatible or right for me etc etc i now keep kicking myself saying why didn't i buy a mac sooner absolutely love it it just works. One of the best bits is you don't need to shut it down just close the lid and when you open it all ready to go with what you where doing before almost instantly

As hey say "MACS JUST WORK" I wasted a heap of cash on windows...now I.ll only use macs.

If you'd like a proper play with one before taking the plunge give me a shout being in the northwest your welcome to try mine out or call into MCC on the albert docks guy in there was really helpful

Mines a macbook pro but they work the same i just wanted a bigger screen
