| Windows Security Alerts. I have been running a PC (Intel Dual core) with Vista Home Premium, it has run relatively happily except for a few anomalies associated with software not being compatible. Today I noticed a security alert for both Defender and the Anti Virus. I click on start Defender and it looks for updates and then says there are non available and still says it isn't working. It has always accepted the free AVG anti virus and even states it is one of their partners on the anti virus page. AVG is up to date and sat in the system tray happily working. I have scanned the PC with AVG, Adaware, Sypbot and Avast, non of them have come up with anything. Would anyone have any ideas as to why this is suddenly happening? |
