My monitor display looks weird...
So, the little Doo's have been Facebooking, Beboing and whatever of the Christmas break, and at last I've got access back to my PC - what do I find? The monitor settings seem to have 'changed', all on their own. I've got an LG Flatron Wide, and the resolution was always crystal clear, very sharp indeed - but now everything looks a bit 'blurry', and all of the icons look ' flattened' a bit, but most noticeable is text, which really doesn't look as smooth as it did. I've checked the properties, and it looks like everything is the same as it was, 1152 x 864 and 32 bit colour quality, but I can't remember if this is correct or not...

any ideas?

handy hint ... get the "Doolets" a second computer so when (not if) they download all the latest virusus (inadvertantly of course) your access to the important things in life .... tides online, YD, ebay, niknaks etc etc remains crystal clear and unvirused !

1152 x 864 is not a "wide-screen" resolution. What I guess you want is something like 1680x1050, or maybe 1440x900. It's important with TFT monitors to use the "natural" resolution of the monitor, or things will look distorted and blurred.

What's the exact model name? One of these presumably?
