I can connect to the DI-524 using XP and I was able to connect to my Linksys wireless box using Vista Thanks for everyone's replies, if I ever fix it I will post the solution! EDIT: just looked again and the DI-524 is listed as 'Compatible with Vista' not 'Works with Vista'. Will have to wait and see what D-Link say I think.

| I have now managed to fix this issue, thanks to everyone for the replies I can't explain why but eventually I tried WPA-PSK (TKIP) and Vista connected fine When I left my colleague's on Wednesday there were 4 very happy children all trying to get on the computer at once Cheers/Nic

| And there was me thinking "I wonder if it's that WPA/WEP issue" I had it with an old XP SP1 installation and a shiney new wireless router. I could connect with everything, my phone, my psp, my other laptop, but not my SP1 laptop, so I went and upgraded to SP2, worked a treat. MyM

| Currently Vista has difficulties with WPA-PSK authentication (as you are aware!), the reason being an issue with how the encrytion deals with stacks, there is a fix update but Ive heard it goes back to the original issue if you run any additional updates, the only thing is to wait for Service Pack 1 or in my opinion, install XP instead!
