Help with Sky +
Yeah I have just cancelled my Sky +, so does anyone know what I will be left with ? Will I still get the free chanels etc... & will I still be able to pause them or record them ? & will I still get the sky planner ?

Any help much appreciated.

check you've cancelled it all they carried on charging me £10 a month for the ability to record and pause etc so no you loose the lot sadly but there was no mention of it when i cancelled almost 6 months went by before i noticed i did get a full refund though

Yeah they did say for £10 a month I could still record. but I dont know if that is just there chanells?

No thats all the free channels to be honest i've not switched mine on for so long i cant remember switched to virgin+

oh well If I recon I might get £40 notes on ebay & £30 notes for my one upstairs. Should be able to get me a Freeview HD recorder for that?

there isnt a monthly charge for sky + now, still very little to record

EBay will not let you sell cable or sky boxes. I tried selling my Virgin boxes and had my listings removed twice with an e-mail to say if I breached their regulations again I'd be banned!

If anyone wants two Virgin boxes I have them and would be happy to part with them for £20.

I sold my Sky HD box on ebay just before Christmas. I can't see why selling Sky+ should be any different. You own it not sky!

Something to do with not allowing others to shoehorn themselves in to a pay per view product for free. I wish I'd been as lucky.

It isn't your property to sell if you read your contract.

Which section did you manage to sell it in?

but its not getting it for free and its not pay per view as the digital channels, surprisingly enough are called 'freeview'. the box is yours , you purchased it and can dispose of it however you please, otherwise thats like buying a freeview box and not being able to sell that later selling the veiwing cards I can understand being banned but not the boxes.

Virgin boxes are different as they own the box, and you cant sell what you dont own.
