Angry iPod Classic and Apple's Camera Connector warning

With all the iPod related chatter on here recently I thought I should put up a warning that the new iPods won't work with the camera connector, or I believe the Belkin Media reader.

I only found this out after getting the new iPod, I already had the Camera connector and had previously used it with borrowed iPods. Apple have confirmed that it doesn't work, but there Tech support people weren't very helpful.

Hopefully they will fix this in a future update of the software on the iPod, or release a connector that fixes the niggles (the slow speed and high battery drain on the iPod) with the old one and works with the Classic.

If any one know of a product that does the same job (or workes with xD and SD cards) please let me know.
