I can only reiterate some of the advice already given in this thread.

If you want to run resource hogs like Final Final cut and Photoshop then you may want to consider the Pro otherwise go with the cheaper, lighter, more portable MacBook.

Max out the disk and the RAM on whatever you go for. I have a 200GB disk and I am always struggling to free up space, an 80GB disk would struggle to take my apps and iTunes library.
