Looking for an 8Gb .mp3 player - Recommendations?

I have a Samsung K3 4Gb which is a nice player but the playlist and track handling isn't the best out there and I am a little frustrated with it.

I would like to replace it with something which has a flash drive of 8Gb, has easy playlist and track handling and around the £100 mark. I want something that is small enough to put on my arm when I go running or to the gym (shock horror!!)

I have looked at the iPods (3rd and 2nd Gen) but don't want to follow the all the rest of the sheep but if it is the best tool for the job, I will go for it. Is it worth getting a 3rd gen Nano compared to a 2nd Gen one (2nd hand)?

Any other players to consider? All of the tracks that I have are converted to .mp3 and don't want to go through the hassle of re-converting the tracks.

Thanks

Son, you're going to have to make up your mind about growing up and becoming aircrew. You can't do both.

The aircraft limits are only there in case there is another flight by that particular aircraft. If subsequent flights do not appear likely, there are no limits.

I would go for a 2nd hand 2nd Gen Nano for running. Then save up for an iPod Touch for best. I have both and I think the Touch is the dogs bits especially now they have added the Mail application.

I wuold go for a 2nd gen nano thats what I use and they are brilliant for running really quick and simple adjustments that can be done whilst you are running.

follow the sheep...

Gareth,

Without doubt the best 8gig player you can buy is the iPod. I bought my wife one for Xmas and if anything, it sounds even better than my 3rd gen classic.

They are a seriously good piece of kit.

Agreed .... and I could do you a good deal on one...... brought one just before the Iphone came out and dont need it any more. Might break your £100 budget though
