Tversity - Cool Piece of Software

Wilbo introduced this to me as a means of streaming media from my external laptop drives onto my XBox360.

Whilst this doesn't sound that much different to the Windows Media Centre Edition of XP, the differnce is that TVersity will stream allsorts of media like ripped DVDs, flash videos saved from YouTube & Quicktime movies, all of which MCE won't deal with. I only found these bits out last when I watched the Ross Kemp vids on my big telly rather than the laptop screen. Then I tried the QT and ripped DVDs and it worked a treat.

Have a green Wilbo.

Anyone else wanting something to stream all that media to your XBox (or a load of other platforms like Wii/PSP) head over to the Tversity site.

Son, you're going to have to make up your mind about growing up and becoming aircrew. You can't do both.

The aircraft limits are only there in case there is another flight by that particular aircraft. If subsequent flights do not appear likely, there are no limits.

Twonky is pretty neat as well - plus it does MP3s and photos.

The PSP can stream from it as can the PS3, XBox, etc - plus various UPnP network clients. I've got a Philips unit in the kitchen that allows us to pick albums, tracks, playlists, etc
