You can either connect a wireless router direct to the line replacing the existing router. Or you can connect a switch to the existing router and plug a wireless access point into the switch. Provided the network is simple and sensibly configured, you should be able to find someone that can sort it all out in less than an hour (£50 tops). |

| No you can only have one modem logged in on your phone line. Wot you need is a wireless router installing at a convenient point. You can still run network cables to any local computers plus connect any other computers you have in other rooms via wireless. Someone who knows what they are talking about will come along shortly and correct me. Paul |

| Are you trying to use a different provider for the second router or is it a range problem in the house. If it's the latter it's easily fixed with a repeating device which can resolve problems in thick walled older houses. If it's the former... then why? There are other ways of achieving connectivity, say using your mains cabling to get wired connectivity. HTH but I suspect not F |

| If you have a wireless router in one room and your problem is recieving a signal in a different room then Linksys make a signal booster. You place it near your wireless router and configure it then move it to the edge of your wireless coverage. It takes the configured network and retransmitts it to the hard to reach corners of your house. Saves having to stretch a twisted cable all over the house - usefull here as we have marble tiles everywhere!
