CAD help required....
Any CAD gurus care to help me?

I've been given some CAD files that I need reorientating so that I can print them as A4 to fill the sheet (converted to PDFs).

I don't have autoCAD, so can't do anything myself. ATM if I convert using one of the free converters available, is that the information prints out landscape on a portrait sheet... even if I reorientate the paper or the print is makes no difference.

Only a tiddly file... honest

Can you do what you need to do with TrueView, it is the AutoCAD viewer from the same company.

Autodesk - DWG - DWG TrueView Download It is a bit of a beast though, it is basically AutoCAD without the editor tools.

Yes, it is a completely different tool from the old viewer. It has a slightly longer name than that I used above;

'DWG Trueview'

I have catia v5 and v4, autocad2000, rino, alias.

V5 vertion R14, 15, 16, 17

Cheers guys... still have got problems with it.. the viewer is bril, but it doesn't seem to allow size changes, although I have manged to change the orientation,so it now prints landscape, it still prints about 75% the size of the paper... can't find the setting to change this...

Woz (he did offer first!), keep an eye out for some files coming your way!

If I don't have any luck, I'll be back!
