Copying all my e-mails to am memory stick

PLease help does anyone know how to simply copy all my e-mails inboxs outboxs sent items the works .

And also the same for all my web site favorites.

and also once on memmory stick install them onto a new computer

Which email client & which web browser are you using?

If you're using an emmory stick like this one, this is where you're going wrong:



You need the Emory board 2.0

If Outlook, more than likely:
File --> Export--> Export to file (PST)

Other packages will have an export facility.

Exactly as in my post above

Depending on how many emails you have you may need to look at something other than a memory stick. I had to burn mine onto 3 DVDs as I had 23GB of PST files.

Have a look at the files and settings transfer wizard.

And for Favourites (in Internet Explorer), it's File, Import and Export.

(And funnily enough, the same thing for getting them onto the new machine).

I copy all of my Outlook e-mails to my Yahoo web mail account which acts as an automatic back up.
Last year when my laptop died all the important stuff was intact on Yahoo.
