| If Outlook, more than likely: File --> Export--> Export to file (PST) Other packages will have an export facility.

| Depending on how many emails you have you may need to look at something other than a memory stick. I had to burn mine onto 3 DVDs as I had 23GB of PST files. |

| And for Favourites (in Internet Explorer), it's File, Import and Export. (And funnily enough, the same thing for getting them onto the new machine).

| I copy all of my Outlook e-mails to my Yahoo web mail account which acts as an automatic back up. Last year when my laptop died all the important stuff was intact on Yahoo.
