__________________ Gareth Images of Life Photography DIR Team Foxturd Blog: Travels Underwater and Further Afar Son, you're going to have to make up your mind about growing up and becoming aircrew. You can't do both. The aircraft limits are only there in case there is another flight by that particular aircraft. If subsequent flights do not appear likely, there are no limits. |

| With you saying MP4, Are you wanting to put the DVD to iPod? If so try Handbrake. Versions for Mac, Windows and Linux.

| Thanks for the dowload suggestions, I'll give them all a try. All the best |

| Nero recode will also do it as will ffmpeg (which I think handbrake uses under the covers) if you're happy with command-line stuff. DVD Shrink can also be used to dump the DVD contents to a drive to sort out encoding from there. |

| Dont forget If it is a copy protected cd, then you have to decrypt it first. On a PC I use DVD Shrink or Slysofts anydvd product (or I would If i ever did this, beacuse it is a little naughty) On the Mac, "Mac the ripper" does the trick DVD Shrink copies the decrypted dvd files to your PC Slysoft just sits between the dvd and the pc allowing you to copy it without doing anything else, mac the ripper also copies to the hdd first. Then you have to convert the resulting folders (or decrypted dvd) to divx/xvid or h264 using something like the products already mentioned or I think mpegstreamclip will also do this. John R |
